FAQ

Questions, answered.

Will it delete anything without asking?
No. Storage Genius previews every action and only deletes what you explicitly select. Files are sent to the Recycle Bin where possible so you can restore.
Does it phone home?
No telemetry, no analytics, no account. The app runs entirely on your machine.
How does "unused 90+ days" work?
We probe each app's install folder and matching AppData directories for the most recent file modification time. If nothing inside has changed in 90 days, we flag it.
What about system / driver software?
Microsoft system components and child uninstall entries are filtered out. The Uninstall button only appears for apps that registered an uninstaller string.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 (1809+) and Windows 11, x64. ARM64 builds on request.
